Catalog description

The UB-Singapore Honors Colloquium class is a one-credit, required fall semester course that provides first semesters Honors Scholars in Singapore an opportunity to learn about the Honors College, and explore the cities of Singapore and Buffalo through research, community engagement, and small group projects. It will provide students with the tools and knowledge necessary to complete their Honors Experiences in a meaningful and timely manner. Finally, HON255 will look at Singapore and Buffalo in a comparative fashion to better understand the cities commonalities and unique characters. HON255 is designed to aid students in their development into citizen-scholars who engage with the world beyond the narrow field of study.
