Presidential Scholar Development Seminar

Catalog description

This course is designed as an introduction to both the university and the Honors College for incoming Freshmen who have been awarded the Presidential Scholarships. Meeting for 50 minutes a week throughout the semester, Presidential Scholars will meet for discussions with campus leaders including the UB President, Deans, and key faculty members and professional staff across the university. The course is designed to introduce Presidential Scholars to the full potential of the university, raise awareness of the range of disciplines and majors it offers, cultivate a sense of their role as student leaders, and promote a sense of community among Presidential Scholars.
