Cities and Globalization: Global Development Planning explores issues, trends, and debates in environmental design, planning, and urban development for cities in the Global South. Focuses on how governance, environmental planning, and urban development policies and strategies influence social, environmental, and health equity for cities of the Global South. Introduces the history, theories, and governance structures that gird global city planning, design, and development discourse. Examines environmental design, planning, and urban development topics affecting cities in the Global South including housing, environment, infrastructure, food equity access, and socio-economic equity. Considers opportunities and limitations of environmental design, planning, and urban development for cities located within the Global South.
