This course explores the principles of medical and radar imaging using multidimensional signal theory and Fourier analysis. Topics include 2D signal processing, Fourier transforms, Radon transform, and image quality. Applications in medical imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR/ISAR) systems are examined, providing a foundation in imaging technologies and their underlying signal processing techniques.
