Catalog description

This course will cover the operating principles and applications of semiconductor solar cells. In addition to discussing the fundamentals of the conversion of light to electricity in such devices. The course will also discuss various solar cell technologies, modules and systems, and their applications. This will include current state-of-the-art systems as well as, emerging technologies. This course will be dual listed with EE 547.
