Practicum in Financial Economics II

Catalog description

This course teaches fixed-income valuation. The class coverage includes: an overview of the global fixed-income markets, price/yield calculations, pricing of bonds with embedded options, bond price and yield volatility, credit analysis, default spreads, and yield curve analysis. This class covers most of the CFA Level 1 fixed-income portion of the exam. This course is dual listed with ECO 589.
