Interdisciplinary Capstone Senior Design

Catalog description

This course is the culmination of undergraduate engineering education during which interdisciplinary student teams design, prototype and document a solution to a problem that requires principles from engineering and/or applied sciences. Project teams are comprised of students from two or more SEAS departments. The course is expected to fulfill departmental capstone design requirement and therefore requires departmental approval as well as an appropriate subject matter expert (e.g. faculty, professional/practicing engineer). It might alternatively fulfill a technical elective. Students must work closely with their department to determine how it fulfills degree requirements.
