Catalog description

In this course students learn intercultural communication principles, theories, and research methodologies while interacting and building relationships with individuals from other countries. Throughout the course students have the opportunity to reflect on their own culture and experiences and better understand the roots of cultural similarities and differences. In addition, students develop an awareness of how cultural identity influences the communication process and prepare to become more effective communicators both in their home country and abroad.
