This course is a survey of major topics and questions within the context of Latin American, Caribbean, and U.S. Latinx queer theory. Content includes: community and identity formation, critiques of the nation-state and heteronormativity, questions of embodiment and body politics, queer futures, and queer Indigenous and Afro-diasporic knowledges and politics. Course content variable; course repeatable for credit.
