Catalog description

Fundamentals of fluid flow and mass transport in porous media. Derives the governing mass and energy balance equations and develops several commonly applied solutions. Particular topics include groundwater flow under saturated and unsaturated conditions, well hydraulics, introduction to transient flow, fundamentals of solute transport, geostatistics, and remediation of contaminated aquifers.
