Catalog description

This course is designed to provide student with an understanding of (a) the overall processes of typical speech and language acquisition in children from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds; (b) linguistic theories pertaining to bilingual and bidialectal speech and language, (c) issues pertaining to assessment, intervention and service delivery for culturally and linguistically diverse populations, including children and adults.
