Catalog description

Artificial intelligence (AI) models are capable of mapping physiological patterns to clinical impacts. In this course students will explore how multidimensional data can be leveraged in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative disease. It is becoming increasingly convenient to collect physiological signals from the human body using devices such as wearable sensors that can reflect physiological states and function of the body.  The goal of this course is to teach students about the principles of physiological structure-function relationships and how to apply machine learning and AI in the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders, with a focus on neurodegeneration.
