Catalog description

Biomedical sciences and healthcare are generating increasingly large datasets. Computational approaches are essential to analyzing these data in a meaningful and timely manner. The goal of this course is to teach students about applications of AI-based approaches in healthcare and biomedical research.  We will provide students with hands-on experience in the application of machine-learning, large language models and agentic approaches to problems including protein structure and drug design, medical imaging, genomics, and healthcare data analytics.
