ASL 112 is the second semester of the first year of American Sign Language (ASL) instruction. The course aims to build on the knowledge and skills gained in the first semester and continue to expose students to the language, literature, culture, and community of people who use ASL. It provides students with opportunities to enhance their comprehension and construction skills through content-specific conversations and interactive activities using correct ASL vocabulary, classifiers, phrases, grammatical structures, and non-manual markers for various purposes in various contexts. The course also focuses on improving fingerspelling and numerical skills.
