Comprehensive introduction to biological art. Focuses on recent advances in the life sciences, both theory and practice. Emphasizes the development of critical and creative thought, discussions of ethical and cultural issues, and cross-disciplinary experimentation in art and science. Course activities include lecture and group discussion; laboratory demonstrations, exercises and projects; and group critique. There may be a class fee assessed to your student account.
