Catalog description

In intaglio printmaking the image is incised into the plate and the incised line holds the ink to be printed on paper. It is the opposite of relief printmaking. Collagraph is similar to intaglio but uses inexpensive materials to build the plate to be printed. We teach flexible, non-toxic methods that are easily scaled up or down. Each project builds on previous skills and culminates in a final project of the student’s choice. There may be a class fee assessed to your student account
