Catalog description

Examines how the design portfolio is an important communication tool for architects and designers to share their own project work. Introduces portfolio development processes, incorporating action research for the cultivation, selection, edited viewpoint, and presentation of individual work, concluding with a personal statement. Objectives include the development of a capstone design portfolio and documenting academic studio work, culminating in a professional format that may be utilized for graduate school applications. Develops awareness to self-evaluate, organize, layout, and edit design work, embedding individual understanding for continued portfolio evolution throughout the post-collegiate, professional career.
