Catalog description
The four units of T-Port will provide the students the opportunity to build softskills, prepare for and gain employment as an automotive technician. This courseis designed to help the student with employment related skills including resumewriting, interview skills, job attainment, and certification. The focus of Portfolio IVis the completion of the automotive portfolio and required work-based learninghours. Students will be required to complete eighty (80) hours of supervisedwork-based learning during this course. Students must successfully complete allfour (4) portfolio classes and one (1) summer co-op experience for a total of 640hours of total work experience to graduate. Registration in each of these coursesrequires that students purchase liability insurance through the College. (offeredspring semester only) No prerequisite.
