The four units of T-Port will provide the students the opportunity to build softskills, prepare for and gain employment as an automotive technician. This courseis designed to help the student with employment related skills including resumewriting, interview skills, job attainment, and certification. The focus of Portfolio IIis continued development of job place skills. The work-based learning experiencewill begin in early January before the start of the formal 15 week semester.Students will be required to complete eighty (80) hours of supervised work-basedlearning during this course. Students must successfully complete all four (4)portfolio classes and one (1) summer co-op experience for a total of 640 hours oftotal work experience to graduate. Registration in each of these courses requiresthat students purchase liability insurance through the College. (offered springsemester only) No prerequisite.
