Catalog description
The four units of T-Port will provide the students the opportunity to build softskills, prepare for and gain employment as an automotive technician. This courseis designed to help the student with employment related skills including resumewriting, interview skills, job attainment, and certification. The focus of Portfolio I isjob preparation and readiness and is designed to prepare the student for thework-based learning experience that begins in semester II. Students mustsuccessfully complete all four (4) portfolio classes and one (1) summer co-opexperience for a total of 640 hours of total work experience to graduate.Registration in this course requires that students purchase liability insurancethrough the College. (offered fall semester only) No prerequisite.
