Spanish for Educators II

Catalog description

Course designed for education students and K-12 school personnel to continueto learn the basics of Spanish grammar, acquire greater knowledge of Hispaniccultures, and improve educators' ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking students and parents. The prime goals of our Spanish for Educators IIcourse are to further develop communication skills associated with real-lifeclassroom and extracurricular situations, foster a better understanding of culturaldifferences and improve classroom communications for teacher/parentinteraction. Required online lab component. Notes: (1) Fulfills SUNY-GE WorldLanguages. (2) Credit given for either SPN127 or SPN102, but not both.Prerequisite: SPN101, SPN126 or equivalent.
