Catalog description

Covers the potential impairments of body structure and function, activitylimitations, and participation restrictions associated with commonmusculoskeletal pathologies across the lifespan, including orthotic and prostheticassistive devices. Skills include the performance and instruction of specificstrengthening exercises, the application of McConnell tape, and residual limbwrapping. (offered fall semester only) (2 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory)Prerequisites: C or higher in PTA151 and BIO246.
