Covers concepts of practice of physical therapy including structure and functionof the APTA, professionalism, professional and regulatory guidelines directinglegal and ethical delivery of services by the physical therapist assistant, structureof the physical therapist's examination/evaluation and plan of care,documentation, therapeutic communication, patient interaction across diversepopulations, and medical terminology. (offered fall semester only) Noprerequisite.
