Catalog description

An examination of growth and changes from conception through late childhood.The theories and methods of psychology will be applied to gain an understandingof the changes and continuity of physical, cognitive, social, and emotionalprocesses in childhood. Topics include: Language and communication skills,motor development, parenting styles and challenges, bonding, familycomposition, and abnormal development. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE SocialSciences. Prerequisite: PSY101.
