PHY118-119: Non-calculus college physics courses primarily designed for pre-med, pre-dental, physical therapy, chiropractic, life science and liberal arts majors. PHY121-122: Physics for the life sciences designed for biological science majors. PHY130-132, 220-222, 230-232, 247-248: Calculus-based courses designed for physics and engineering students. Math, computer science, astronomy, chemistry,geology, and meteorology majors should take these courses UNLESS the institution they plan to transfer to accepts physics at a lower level.
