Catalog description
A combined lecture/lab course designed to acquaint students with basic conceptsof physics in the context of energy generation and the climate crisis, andsustainability. Topics covered include fossil fuels, renewable energy, the climatecrisis, and how to satisfy our future energy needs with sustainability in mind. Forany students looking to satisfy a natural science elective. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GENatural Sciences. (3 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite: MAT006,MAT007 or equivalent.
