Methodology of Team Sports

Catalog description

This course is designed as a content knowledge course for the team sports ofvolleyball, soccer and basketball. The course will provide students experiencesthat will lead to skill acquisition, as well as, the ability to analyze and correcterrors in skill performance. Students will be introduced to the variousprogressions of teaching these skills that are developmentally appropriate for aK-12 physical education setting. Note: Course is restricted to Physical Educationmajors. (2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite: PED190.
