Continuation of ear training and sight-singing skills developed in MUS127: AuralSkills II, moving on to more complex rhythms, chromatic melodies andmodulations to more distantly-related keys. Chromatic and borrowed harmoniesin progressions are introduced. Parallels theoretical concepts covered inMUS203: Music Theory III. (offered fall semester only) (1 hr. lecture, 2 hrs.laboratory) Prerequisite: C or better in MUS126, MUS127, and MUS128.Corequisite: MUS203.
