Provides a broader experience in listening, analyzing and describing specificnomenclature of rock music. Covers aesthetic, political and social impact of rockmusic from its origins in 'Rhythm and Blues' to the rise of Elvis Presley androckabilly, Chuck Berry and teenage rock, Bob Dylan and protest rock, Britishrock, psychedelic rock, art rock, soul and country rock. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GEThe Arts. No prerequisite.
