Catalog description

Review of elementary algebra, properties of exponents and radicals, scientificnotation, use of a calculator, linear expressions, trigonometric expressions andright triangle trigonometry, solving linear and some restricted quadratic equationsand systems of linear equations in two variables, vectors and some basicoperations on vectors. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE Mathematics. Emphasis will be onapplied problems from technical disciplines. Prerequisite: MAT006 or MAT007 orequivalent.
