Catalog description

Populations of animals and plants inhabiting Long Island's intertidal andnearshore environments are studied. Special attention given to the biology andnatural history of these organisms. Community relationships and effects of abioticenvironment on coastal populations also emphasized. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GENatural Sciences. (3 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisite: MAT007 orequivalent.
