Elementary Japanese I

First half of the introductory sequence in Japanese which develops the fourlanguage skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing with emphasis oncommunicative proficiency. Basic concepts of Japanese culture are introduced.Required online lab component. Notes: (1) This course is for students with little orno prior knowledge of Japanese. More advanced students should see theChair/Academic Dean. (2) Fulfills SUNY-GE World Languages. No prerequisite.
