Catalog description
An introduction to conceptual and practical methods of designing commercialprojects of increasing levels of complexity and scope are used to enhance andexpand design skills. Fundamentals of AutoCAD in addition to thumbnailsketching, rendering, one- and two- point perspective graphically support designsolutions. Emphasis on connection between programming, bubble schematics,flow charts, color, texture and lighting to emphasize the power of design in publicspaces. Creative presentation techniques and refined oral skills are emphasized.(offered fall semester only) (6 hrs. studio) Prerequisite: INT103 or permission ofthe Chair/Academic Dean.
