Color for Interiors

Catalog description

Focuses on the fundamentals of color through the exploration of how color andlight relate to the world of interiors. Concentration will be on color theory and itsapplication to interiors. Gouache paints will be utilized to demonstrate colorharmony in interiors: walls, flooring, upholstery, and window treatments. Thepsychological and practical influences affecting the choice of color will beexplored through studio projects. (offered spring semester only) (2 hrs. lecture, 2hrs. studio) Prerequisite: INT101 or permission of the Chair/Academic Dean.
