Catalog description

A survey of the history, science, and proper application of textiles and finishes inthe interior environment. Examination and evaluation of textile identification,proper selection, methods of weaving, testing, and maintenance of textiles.Demonstration through case studies of specifications, estimating of textiles andfinishes, green design and textile codes. Culminates with the psychological andphysical advantages of textiles in today's interiors. (offered fall semester only) (2hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. studio) No prerequisite.
