Catalog description

Teaches fundamental knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration theory.Develops job-entry knowledge for installing, operating, troubleshooting andrepairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems. As part of this course,students will learn to solder, braze, flare, swage, leak test, install, evacuate,charge service and evaluate air conditioning and refrigeration systems. (2 hrs.lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) No prerequisite.
