First half of the introductory sequence in French which develops the fourlanguage skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with emphasis oncommunicative competence. Basic concepts of French culture are introduced.Required online lab component. Notes: (1) This course is for students with little orno knowledge of French. More advanced students should see theChair/Academic Dean. (2) Fulfills SUNY-GE World Languages. No prerequisite.
