Enhances second language academic writing skills to produce clearer and variedsentences and paragraphs for students whose native language is not English.ESL018 builds on skills developed in ESL017 and introduces various types ofacademic essay writing. ESL017 and ESL018 each require a minimum of onehour a week on selected assignments in the Language Lab/Academic SkillsCenter. Graded on an S/W/U/R basis. Prerequisite: ESL017.
