The Art of Humor introduces students to different modes of humor and to thethemes and techniques of the masters of humor writing. The course provides atheoretical framework for investigating the ethics of humor, including why humoris produced and consumed and what our laughter reveals about us. Note: FulfillsSUNY-GE Humanities. Prerequisite: ENG100 or ENG101.
