Study of programs, curriculum and care of children ages 6 weeks through thesecond year who are in group care settings. Appropriate techniques for fosteringemotional, physical, social and cognitive development of the very young areexamined. Field visits to infant and toddler programs required as in EDU101.Note: This course is open to all students and can be used as an unrestrictedelective in the Liberal Arts and Sciences: General Studies Program. Noprerequisite.
