Course begins with simplified description of a complex matter: how and how welldoes a national economy work? Over short periods of time, production andemployment are known to be volatile, while over longer periods of timeproduction and employment grow. Why is each of these observations true andwhat is role of government (if any) in the process? Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE SocialSciences. No prerequisite.
