Catalog description

Students will explore and perform the fundamentals of styles including modern,folk, jazz, hip hop, ballet, and contemporary. The course will allow students tobuild a foundation in dance movement while studying influential pieces ofchoreography. The course will culminate in a final public performance. Note:Fulfills SUNY-GE The Arts. (2 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) No prerequisite.
