Catalog description

Introduces the hardware and software tools necessary to understand, deploy,and maintain an SMB-to-enterprise network infrastructure, covering devices suchas servers, routers, switches, and intrusion prevention systems. The courseemphasizes how to allocate network services within the infrastructure. Configureand manage Access, Authorization and Accounting: IOS, AD, RADIUS,TACACS+. Students acquire a greater breadth of network systems and softwareimplementation from multiple manufacturers and the best practices for deploying,managing and monitoring a network. (offered spring semester only) (2 hrs.lecture, 2 hrs. laboratory) Prerequisites: CYB111 and CYB115.
