Comprehensive introduction to use of personal computers for improvingproductivity and problem solving. Primarily for non-computer majors and liberalarts students (i.e., those majoring in areas such as humanities, arts, social andbehavioral sciences.) Includes desktop configuration, word processing,spreadsheets, presentation graphics, basics of personal computer organization,directory structures and file management. Optional topics may include databaseconcepts, web page creation, internet and IT resources, web browsers and useof internet for research. Course cannot be applied to satisfaction of graduationrequirements in any computer-related degree program or certificate at SCCC.Note: Credit given for CST101 or BUS112, but not both. No prerequisite. Offeredon: A-E-G
