Print Reading for Construction

Catalog description

This course teaches the student how to interpret and visualize constructiondrawings which are essential skills for the success of any construction design orproject. Students will learn how to "take-off" estimated quantities of materials,understand the relationship between details, elevations, and plan sheets.Students will work through multiple projects learning how each of the printsinterrelate in the construction document set. (2 hr. lecture, 3 hrs. laboratory)Prerequisite: COT114.
