Introduces field of communication studies. Through lecture, discussion, andpractice, students study areas such as public speaking, small group problemsolving, verbal and nonverbal communication, interpersonal communication,critical listening, and related areas. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE Communication-Oraland SUNY-GE Humanities. No prerequisite.
