Catalog description

The course facilitates students' transition to and success at Suffolk CountyCommunity College. Through discussions, readings, critical thinking andinformation literacy, students will develop academic skills, a connection with theCollege, and a familiarity with College resources and services. Students areexpected to enroll in this class in their first semester. Note: This course cannot beused to fulfill an unrestricted elective. No prerequisite.
