Introduction to filmmaking technology and industry practices, includingtechniques of pre-production, production and post-production in creating digitalfilms. Includes an overview of hardware components and software utilized in theproduction of digital filmmaking including cameras, lighting, lenses, audiorecorders and computers. Emphasis on the principles of narrative filmmaking.Digital camcorders, computer-based non-linear editing and other equipmentavailable in lab. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE The Arts. No prerequisite.
