Second half of the introductory sequence in Chinese which develops the fourlanguage skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with emphasis oncommunicative competence. Integrated teaching methodology combines best ofgrammatical and functional approaches to language acquisition. Basic conceptsof Chinese culture are introduced. Required online lab component. Note: FulfillsSUNY-GE World Languages. Prerequisite: CHI101 or fulfillment of equivalenthigh school requirement.
