College Chemistry II

Catalog description

Two-semester sequence for students whose emphasis is chemistry, biology,engineering, physics, geology, meteorology, environmental science, medicine ordentistry. Laboratory work is basically quantitative in nature and emphasizesexperimental techniques and study through observation. Second semesterplaces emphasis on equilibrium through study of inorganic qualitative analysis.Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE Natural Sciences. (3 hrs. lecture, 1 hr. recitation, 3 hrs.laboratory) Prerequisite: CHE133 or permission of the Chair/Academic Dean andMAT120 or MAT124.
